the worlds not flat.....the holocaust was real....we really went to the moon...we're not the only lifeforms in the universe...never say never...and dont f*ck with mother nature
BTW I made enquiries regarding this photo and the litters from this breeder of Lynnicks blonde male.
The mother and father were grey. BUT the sister to the mother was mahogany and both sisters were mated and whelped at the same time and the mahogany is the source of the black pups in this photo.
I do recall Lynnicks stating that there were only Greys at the breeders. BUT the breeder specifically bred for colour and was the first in UK to have litters of all colours prior to this litter and always had all colours at their kennels and at their friends kennel who they co operated with.
They also used a mahogany male from my friend Linzi 3 times.

Phil - did you make inquiry to the breeder whose litter is linked? If not, then anything you write about it is Hearsay. Go to the source. I have heard (hearsay) that Luigino Del Prete and Giovanni Basilicata also had black from both grey parents. Not sure but it is worth asking them.
The point is that scientifically it is not impossible and whatever certain breeders may say wll not change the scientific situation. Whether breeders and owners want to accept this position and move on is the question of the day.
By clinging to the old adage that it is impossible it limits our thinking and cause us to find excuses for such anamoly when there is none need for it. It is much easier to accuse someone of wrongdoing than to change our viewpoints.
Of course Gary. Thats why i have only posted now as I have only had the answer this afternoon. I also contacted the studs ownwer as well. And the mothers of the litters are owned by member of UGM.
And I do not say its impossible I am only clarifying the incorrect post made.
I also have been to Luigi Del Prete's kennels twice before and have spoken with him at the last 2 shows. He is also a very good friend of Thundermug from when Garry lived in Italy and been back visiting to him.
I will be in Italy this coming weekend and next and shall ask him if i see him there. I will also ask as many other breeders that I can.
I have now sent an email to Dave & Lesley to ask them what they are being accused of but so far no answer. Natalie is not the breeder (stud owner only) who is the one on the UGM website and she also sold all her dogs plus the breeders of Charlie sold theirs, due to ill health. I am not saying either way that what I was told was true or false until I hear from the owners of the female who happened to be present at the birth. Until then I will not listen to heresay but will keep an open mind.
Oh Is Natalie a member in UGM too? I did not know she was there as well. I thought she had quit.
Oh and BTW I also know a lady who bought a black female puppy from a dalarck atilla x a dalesneo female(who was mahogany) but it was returned due to being of extremely low quality and one of its littermates a blonde was posted by Jaq the Uk rescue lady from colosseo, but this is probably a coincidence.
But back to the subject of proof and not hearsay, I will be speaking if possible to Luigi that Gary mentioned and will post the response here if I manage to get it.
Oh and I did not accuse the breeder of anything. I merely have said that either you have posted incorrectly.
Good day, and I wont be replying to you further, as this is exactly what you want, a FIGHT to get ATTENTION. And its not really what Jess and Gary started this site for.
The father was Dalnarck Attila and the mother was a Mahogany from Dalesneo, i forget her name but her father was Fabrizio vd Hestokamp owned by Dick and Cindy Preston and her grandfather was a mahogany called Shawneovin Bucaneer. I remember this distinctly as he was in the pedigrees of both my Mahogoney's Zeta and Cass. I wanted the pup as the pedigrees matched, but she was not of show or breeding quality so she was returned to the breeder.
Ive have heard grey and grey can produce blonde if colour is in the background of both parents but never producing a black...would have thought being the dominant colour a black would only be produced if one of the parents were black.
EDITED/ADDED: The black pup's mother (as above) was a mahogoney called Dalesneo Coco Channel at Natalya.
Perhaps Gonnie can do the honours about putting us straight again... I must admit genetics are not the easiest of subjects to follow, especially for brunettes with blonde tendancies.
Dalnarck Atilla at Natalya was Blue/grey Dalesneo's Dolce Vita was Blue/grey No arguement at all I just thought the topic was about 2 grey could not make black and I enquired from the breeders whether those black pups were actually from those parents. I will wait for their reply and post it either way. BTW I dont think anyone of us own the perfect dog and I thought this topic was about colour not judging other people's choices of dog or breeder. We all love our dogs whether they be show/breeding or pet quality after all. Lets keep this topic as intended to find out whether black can come from 2 grey Have a nice day
No Jessica this was a British breeder who sold her dogs awhile back. She does not frequent sites which is a shame as she could answer in person if she did.
