One of the Natural things I use to cut down bugs in the backyard is Cedar Chips. Not the kind for flower beds, but the kind you buy in bags for animal bedding. Although this year I bought a granual and laid it in the beginning of the year and the bugs all together have been a hell of alot better.
1 cup of Cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon of citrinella half a cup of soft & gentle conditioner, 2 teaspoons of a gentle liquid soap 1 teaspoon of tea tree oil 1 litre of strong cold tea pop it into a sprayer and voila!!! It needs to be shaken every time before use... I spray it around the kennels, on the dogs and my horse, it gives a healthy sheen to their coats too...
Another thing I've been using for myself....Is Lavender oil...Haven't used it on the dogs honestly....But it works Great for me and the kid when we want to go out back w/o being chewed on. I am So going to check out your recipe Charina....I LOVE all natural!!!!
