Hi guys! I was wondering... Is it possible to get a black-brindle dog out of a blue-brindle dog female? Both parent of the specified female are blue(dam=brindle, male no-brindle)
Yes, its common actually. The colors that are most seen are from whatever taste of that specific breeder. Blue has always been most popular. Actually until recently brindling wasn't really wanted, since it makes it more appearant that other breeds were used into the Neo'. I personally like the look, but for me the most important thing is healthy dogs....What-ever the coat is fine But expect if bred to a black dog and the bitch is blue to produce atleast half the litter in black...Or at minimal a few!!! lol.... But again you need to look at the would-be Sire and find out how many in his pedigree are black as well.......It all a process!
