has a lump the size of a small tangerine on his back between shoulder blades ...can move around to neck ...vet doesn't seem to worry ..will check it out on saturday. Any one else ever heard of this problem ....he also got cherry eye ..but the drops cleared it up ...vet said he expects it to come back ... and the other eye too ..when this happens ...will get surgery to fix the eyes ....this sound right????????

Did Frankie just get shots? Or was he playing rough with your other dog? If its from the shots, put some ice on it and yes it will go down. Also with a bite-Which is common with having two dogs-fyi. What happened exactly that led to the lump?
With the cherry eye, did it look like the under part completely popped out-Or was it more irritated and swollen like in a corner of the eye?

slightly popped out in the corner of the eye ....didn't look as bad as the pups in the picture. he does play with the other dog...and it just popped up...can completely get your fingers around it and underneath it..has had it since tues. hasn't changed size and doesn't seem to hurt him

Cherry eye is common, I have found removal to be best. But talk to you Vet. depending on the area you live in seems to make prices jump....150-200 an eye is a average cost around here. A guy in Florida I know they told him 1500....And in VA another guy I know he couldn't find a Vet who would remove, only tack.

Vet believes cherry eye will probably come back and in both eyes ...will remove them when we get frankie fixed. thinks the lump could be a reaction to the shots he got...some dogs are more sensitve then others and that he just got more boosters so he should find out if another one pops up. Man My other mastiff was a piece of cake...not one heath issue ever.. thank the lord....would have thought it could have been a reaction but didn't show up till around 10 days later. but hey what do i know. thanks
