Of course you love your dog but please dont think any fault is directly to do with the close breeding. Even dogs with no relation whatsover still show faults. This breed is interesting and looking at pedigrees doesnt give you the answer to which dog you match with which its mostly down to patience and watching your dog grow and deciding (if you decide) what faults (even slight) are worth improving or which ones you should not consider passing on no matter how much you think your dog is the greatest. I have a male here which came from a good pedigree and was long awaited for I am watching him but he is only 14 months but at the moment I wouldnt consider using him because I feel he hasnt shown me (so far) something which would improve the breed on the whole. I have used a male which to many is classed plain nothing special but in him I see health and longlivity and with the right female I hope this is passed on to his offspring.
