Recently on molosserdogs.com I tried to help answer another person's question on why so many choose to use other means for breeding. I wanted to share my thoughts on why natural can be difficult, and the experience I had over last weekend. Because of this I have now been publicly attacked and ridiculed, when its my personal choice to do with my animals for which I choose. I wanted to clear up any doubts on in important FACT, Shani and Mindy are some of the most honest and dedicated people to the breed that I know and I am honored to call them my friends. I stand by my choices in dogs and their kennels and pedigree's. Some of my favorite dogs are from Bella Dolce and Maximum Mastiffs. Ranging from CH.Chrome, Ch.Tuscany, and of-course Last but not least from Bella Dolce Fenice's Dad Ch.Iron Mike! Mindy has fantastic dogs as well Ch.Envy, Ch.Daphne, Athena Eragon's mom and father Ch.Ahilles. My dogs are my life and I'm happy that I've been so lucky to make friends with so many good people like these two. Both of these women have spent hours on the phone with me and I honestly want to be Shani when I grow up!!!! =O)
By law you need only provide shelter and food/ water for your dogs. There are no right and wrong on what dog is best for whom. There is nothing out there that says this is right and this is wrong, which leaves the rest up to the individuals. No two individuals are the same. People may share the same views on certian things, but not on others. Everyone does what they feel is right for their own dogs, and unless it is causing harm or advise was asked for people should respect other peoples wishes on how to raise their own pets. I see nothing wrong with people voiceing their opinions on what has worked for them, its when it comes to judgement where people run into problems. I do not know what was said or why. But things can get sticky on forums because you can not hear tones or sarcasums. Men speak alot more blunt than woman and woman can take things alittle more personal especially if it is blunt. I speak from experience on that. Everyone on these forums loves their dogs above and beyond, that we can all agree.

Sorry that happened Jessica. Don't let it get to you. Continue trying to breed naturally and do what you want. If none of those people help you or put food on your table then their opinions should mean little to you.
I agree with Sara on this. Constructive critism with advice afterwards is OK but when someone drags up a discussion which happened last year then there must be hidden issues. I had the same rubbish when I bred my two dogs and was ripped apart offline about why breed them at all. Not one person has come back to me and complained about their pup or had a bad word against the breeding since. I wont say they are perfect but they are obviously in happy homes which I do have follows conversations. After all that is the whole point of breeding is to have dogs which are happy within the enviroment that they were placed. Not everyone breeds these dogs for the show ring some of us wants healthy strong dogs no matter what they do. Show ring or otherwise.
