Im JoLeigh currently moving to Tx to open a boarding/training kennel dedicated to the larger and more "unaccepted" dogs who have a hard time finding accommodations for them.

We're going to contact the rescues and work with them doing adoption days and things like that, Im really excited! Ill be sure to keep you posted ^_^

Well....You know -link- is Always looking for more help--I do Not think we Even have one in Texas...We are in Horrible Need for more volunteers....Maybe it could help get your foot in the door with other grp's since we all communicate from time to time...
But good luck either way, its hard and time consuming to help these big lugs...But when you save just One it truly does refresh one's memory on Why we help.

Hi Joleigh so tell us about yourself, do you have any dogs currently? What type of dog back ground do you have? Or are you working with a trainer? Also what type of training are you planning to use?

No dogs right now not till I move. My background oh you opened a bag of worms there lmao Ill keep it short. At 7 I started going to show and getting my feet wet with handling. Since then I have had apprenticeships with 2 groomers, a (boarding) kennel owner, a breeder handler, and 2 trainers. I have a certification in vet assit, genetics, and Breeding hand (basically every thing that could go wrong and what needs to be happening minute by friggin minute......can you feel my disdain for the class? lol) I have a few more classes and apprenticeships that I would like and plan to take.

The training Ill be doing depends on the dog and specialized.

Late September to mid October not really sure of an exact date I just do what Im told lol.
